Join Whitesbog Preservation Trust and Central Jersey Strange for a night of lore, legends, and summoning of New Jersey’s favorite cryptid, the infamous Jersey Devil.

Enjoy a twilight hike where guests get to experience Whitesbog’s new Lore and Legends App Tour. This hike takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, and delves into the best lore and legends surrounding the pine barrens. Guests will then get to join Central Jersey Strange for a paranormal investigation of a surprise location on the Whitesbog Historic Village grounds and participate in an Estes Method session, by the light of a bonfire, where we attemptto make contact with the Jersey Devil. (Itinerary below).

Ticket holders are welcome to participate in the monthly Moonlight Walk, a 3-5 mile hike under the moon at the end of the event. (approx. 7 pm - 9 pm)

Central Jersey Strange is a Hamilton based paranormal and high strangeness investigative group founded by Tom and Becky Simeone. Along with our three members we investigate haunted locations and private homes (upon request). We aim to educate on high strangeness and inspire a sense or curiosity for what we do not understand. We live by the motto: curiosity over fear.

We will have warm beverages and light snacks. Please bring a flashlight and any ghost hunting equipment you may have. Dress warm and we suggest bringing additional snacks and water. Hikes are optional, members of Central Jersey Strange will remain at the bonfire and share ghost stories and continue with the Estes Method.

4:00 pm - Meet at the General Store

4:15 pm - Lore & Legends Hike

5:00 pm - Paranormal Investigation of a Surprise Location on the Whitesbog Historic Village Grounds

6:00 pm - Bonfire and Summoning the Jersey Devil Estes Method Session

7:00 pm - Meet at the General Store for an option 3-5 mile Moonlight Hike.
