Summoning the Jersey Devil

On a crisp autumnal evening, Central Jersey Strange partnered with the Whitesbog Preservation Trust in a celebration of the paranormal. The Central Jersey Strange team along with 15 people, explored two locations in the Historic Whitesbog Village and participated in an Estes Session where we made an attempt to contact the Jersey Devil.

Below you will find the evidence that we found including EVPs and the video of the Estes Method Session.

If you were there with us that night, we would love to hear any personal experiences that you had. You can email them to centraljerseystrange@gmail.com or fill out the form below.

Summoning the Jersey Devil Estes Method

The Estes Method was invented in Estes Park Colorado by Connor J. Randall (@connorjrandall) and Karl Pfieffer (@karlpfeiffer) while working as the resident paranormal investigates at the famed Stanley Hotel (the inspiration for Stephen King’s The Shining). This method combines the use for an SB-7 Spirit Box with sensory deprivation to create a channel for a direct communication between the receiver and a questioner. One member of the team is in the position to call our and ask questions, while the other (the receiver) dons a blindfold and noise cancelling headphones to better tune into the cycling of the spirit box.

For our Estes method, Becky Simeone is acting as the receiver while Tom Simeone asks questions.
